Episode 1: First Look Onboard

We arrived at the Fincantieri ship yard in Genoa, Italy to take a behind the scenes tour of Scarlet Lady. We get a first look at the Cabins, Rockstar Suites, Restaurants and outdoor decks. Plus a backstage look at the ships mooring decks and crew areas.

Episode 2: Cabin and Suite Tour

We visit Virgin Voyage’s top secret HQ for an exclusive video tour of Scarlet Lady’s cabins and suites. We were so lucky to be one of the first ever people to see a brilliance rock star suite and Sea Terrace Balcony cabin.

About Scarlet Lady

Scarlet Lady will feature spaces designed by some of the top names in contemporary design including Roman and Williams, Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio, Concrete Amsterdam, Softroom of London and more—many of whom are responsible for the creation of the most stylish boutique hotels and resorts across major cities in the US and Europe.

Scarlet Lady will also feature alluring entertainment and 20+ world-class intimate eateries on board. She will bring a city-like eating atmosphere to the sea. The ship will not feature a buffet or main dining room. There will be no forced formal wear, no assigned seating and no assigned dining times.

Well-being will be at the forefront of the onboard experience. A wide variety of group fitness classes on board are all provided complimentary.

The accommodation will include RockStar Suites designed by Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio.

The Massive Suite, the top suite aboard the Scarlet Lady, will include its very own guitar-clad music room, views of the ocean from every corner of the suite, and a massive terrace.

Scarlet Lady Launch Date

Scarlet Lady will sail from PortMiami to the Caribbean for her inaugural sailing season in 2020. She will hold more than 2,770 passengers and 1,160 crew from around the world.

At the helm will be Captain Wendy Williams. She will become the first Canadian woman to captain a cruise ship for a major cruise brand.
