Virgin Voyages revealed more information about the nine new public spaces on Scarlet Girl that will be part of the ships ‘Vitamin Sea’ wellness programme.
The ‘Vitamin Sea’ programme inspired by the oceans and their importance in the health and well-being of our planet and our daily lives. This will see healthy travel at the forefront of the Virgin Voyages experience.
Virgin will provide a wide variety of complimentary group fitness classes allowing passengers to enjoy their favourite fitness activities or try something new.
The Crows Nest
The Crow’s Nest with its 360-degree view is a secluded sundeck for sunrise and sunset yoga.
The Runway is the running track designed by Concrete Amsterdam.
The Athletic Club
The Athletic Club is designed like the New York sports clubs of the 1920’s. Offering moments of detox and ‘retox’, this space features an outdoor training zone, a boxing ring, strength and gymnastics equipment.
The Athletic Club will also feature outdoor oversized games, cabanas for relaxation, and a bar for socialising post-workout.
The B-Complex will feature strength, spin, yoga and cardio sessions in its fitness studios. The area will include Build, Burn, Bike and Balance rooms. Burn and Build rooms be equipped with Technogym ARTIS fitness technology.
The serenity zone will feature the Well-being Pool which will help passengers restore themselves after a workout. The Gym and Tonic bar which will offer fresh cold-pressed juices.
MyBeast, an artistic adult playground and fitness apparatus designed by Equilibria, will add a Venice Beach-like atmosphere to the Well-being Pool.
The Redemption Spa on Deck 5 will be designed like an underwater cave. The spa will feature a hydrotherapy pool, mud room, salt room, cold plunge pools, quartz beds, and rejuvenating spa treatments. Plus, on an evening the spa will feature parties where a DJ will transform the spas thermal suite into a “mermaid hideaway extravaganza”.
Unlike most ships which confine all their personal treatments to the spa, the Scarlet Lady will offer treatments in different spaces across the ship.
This includes a standalone blow dry bar called the Dry Dock salon, the Stubble & Groom barbershop with a male pedicure spa overlooking a porthole ocean view and a mani-pedi spa.
