Princess Cruises Drinks Packages

All drinks packages must be purchased for the full length of the voyage, cannot be shared, is non-transferable, and is non-refundable within 3 days of sailing.

Premier Beverage Package

The Premier Beverage Package includes costs $59.99 USD per person/per day ($70.79 USD per day with the 18% service charge included).

For sailings departing from and returning to Australia and New Zealand, the package is available onboard for $86.99 AUD per day, including the service charge. The package is not available for pre-purchase for these voyages.

The package includes all cocktails, wine and beer $12.00 USD/$16.00 AUD and under. You are restricted to 12 alcoholic drinks per-day. The day runs from 6 a.m. to 6 a.m.

Plus, unlimited 500ml bottled water, fountain sodas, juices, specialty coffees and teas, Gong Cha items, Frappés, milk shakes and Red Bull energy drinks.

You also get 25% off bottles of wine, canned soda and bottled juices.

The Premier Beverage Package is not available on select voyages.

Premier Beverage Package terms and conditions

Premier Coffee & Soda Package

The Premier Coffee & Soda Package costs $19.99 USD per person/per day ($23.59 per day with the 18% service charge). For sailings from Australia the package costs $29.99 AUD per day including the service charge.

The package includes unlimited speciality coffees, speciality teas, fountain soft drinks, mocktails, juices, and hot chocolate throughout your cruise. You also receive a souvenir tumbler.

Plus, you get 25% off bottles of water of any size, canned and bottled non-alcoholic drinks.

Classic Soda Package

The Classic Soda Package, previously called the Unlimited Soda & More Package, costs $9.99 USD per person/per day ($11.79 USD with the 18% service charge). The package costs $15.33 AUD, including service charge, for cruises departing from Australia or New Zealand.

The package includes unlimited fountain soft drinks, plus mocktails, juices and smoothies. You also receive a souvenir tumbler to keep.

Canned Soda Package

The Canned Soda Package costs $11.50 USD.

Choose any six sodas listed below in any combination for the price of five: Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Diet Sprite, orange soda, soda water, tonic water, ginger ale.

The package is not currently offered on selected voyages departing from and returning to Australia and New Zealand.

Bottled Water Package

The Bottled Water Package $6.90 for 12 (500 ml) bottles of water.

For pre-cruise purchase ONLY through the Cruise Personalizer. The package is not currently offered on Diamond, Emerald or Golden Princess voyages departing from and returning to Australia and New Zealand.

5-For-4 Beer Packages

Choose five beers from the list below and receive 5 bottles for the price of 4. Price includes a service charge.

  • 5-for-4 Heineken Package
  • 5-for-4 Budweiser Package
  • 5-for-4 Bud Light Package

The package is not currently offered on selected voyages departing from and returning to Australia and New Zealand.

New Grounds Coffee Package

The New Grounds Coffee Package costs $35.65 USD.

With this package you pre-purchase of a specified number of specialty coffees to use on your cruise. The number of drinks you get and the price vary by itinerary. You also receive unlimited brewed coffee and teas.

Unused drinks can not be used on a future cruise.

The package is not currently offered for pre-purchase on selected voyages departing from and returning to Australia and New Zealand.

How old do you have to be to drink on Princess Cruises?

On cruises between ports in Europe, Australia/New Zealand, China and Singapore the minimum age is 18.

On cruises from Japan, the minimum age is 18 and for all other cruises, the drinking age is 21 and older.

Can I bring my own alcohol on-board a Princess cruise?

Each passenger may bring one bottle of wine of champagne up to 750 ml per sailing. Any additional bottles brought onboard will be subject to a  $15 corkage fee.

Beer and liquor are not allowed to be brought on-board.

Any alcohol purchased in-port will be confiscated when re-boarding and returned to you at the end of your cruise.

Alcohol purchased in the onboard shops will be retained and returned to you at the end of your cruise.

Are drinks free on Princess Cruises?

There is a small selection of free drinks available on Princess Cruises including tea, coffee, water, lemonade and iced tea. All other drinks are paid for. Princess Cruises also offer drinks packages that can be bought before your cruise or onboard the ship.

How to get free drinks on Princess Cruises

You will find free Champagne at the Captain’s Welcome, Champagne Waterfall and the Captain’s Farewell Party. Champagne is also available at the Art Auction and some shops may run special parties will free drinks. If you are a Captain’s Circle member will receive either free champagne or a drinks voucher at the Captain’s Circle Party. Also, look for free drinks package promotions that Princess run throughout the year.
