Royal Caribbean Launch a £26,000 Shopping Excursion Package

For the cruisers who like to splash a little cash while in port, Royal Caribbean have now launched the Ultimate Shopaholic cruise package. But it comes with a hefty price tag – £26,000.

The Ultimate Shopaholic Package will let big spenders live out their wildest shopping dreams in glitzy Dubai and will be available on Jewel of the Seas sailing Middle Eastern itineraries from December 2019 to March 2020.

While docked for a night in port at the start of a Middle Eastern itinerary, Royal Caribbean Shopaholic guests will start with a style consultation by image consultant to the stars, Rose Arbaji. The consultation will take place on the 122nd floor of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. The package also includes a visit to one the world’s largest shopping malls, a three course gourmet meal and a stay in the Royal Suite onboard Jewel of the Seas.

  • A professional photo shoot on the golden sands outside the famous sail-shaped Burj Al Arab, one of the world’s only ‘Seven Star’ hotels

  • A visit to one the world’s largest shopping malls to browse the latest collections in Gucci, Dior, Armani and Chanel

A global shopping destination

The Ultimate Shopaholic Dubai experience was created by Royal Caribbean, after research found Brits believe Dubai will be one of the three best global shopping destinations by 2020 – after New York and London. The survey of 2,000 Brits found that one in seven adults have booked a holiday to a city such as Dubai, New York or Paris purely for the shopping experience. Plus, a third of Brits surveyed take the quality of the shopping experience into consideration when deciding where to go for their holiday.
