Our Review of 150 Central Park:

We dined at 150 Central Park on Symphony of the Seas in 2023. Since the restaurant had sold out online, we made a reservation on the ship, but we had to check every day for cancellations. Luckily, we managed to secure a reservation on the final evening of our cruise.

The ambiance at 150 Central Park was undeniably upscale and elegant, making it a perfect setting for a date night. The décor is cosy and feels very plush.

Roasted Organic Beet Salad

Roasted Organic Beet Salad

We started our meal with the Roasted Organic Beet Salad, which was beautifully presented. The combination of goat cheese, salty bacon, and sweet beetroots created a delightful balance of flavors.

Braised Short Rib

In addition we had the Braised Short Rib which exceeded our expectations in both flavor and preparation. The succulent meat was tender and packed with a delightful blend of rich and savory notes.

Roasted Tenderloin of Beef for Two

For our main course, we ordered the Roasted Tenderloin of Beef for Two and requested it for one person. The waiter accommodated our request without any issue, and the meat and sauces were cooked to perfection. We were highly satisfied with the quality and taste of the dish.

Pan-seared Halibut

Pan-seared Halibut

We also tried the Pan-seared Halibut, which was served on a bed of potatoes with saffron and truffle hollandaise. The fish was well-cooked and flaky, but unfortunately, the saffron and truffle hollandaise seemed to have suffered from being kept under a hot lamp for too long, resulting in a somewhat disappointing flavor.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Tart

To finish our meal, we indulged in the Peanut Butter Chocolate Tart, which had a rich peanut butter filling and crisp pastry. It was incredibly rich but undeniably delicious. We also ordered the Fried Cheesecake with Nutella, whipped cream, and caramelized popcorn. Contrary to our expectations, it was surprisingly light and very tasty.
