Princess Cruises Alcoholic Drinks Packages

Princess Cruises offers two Alcoholic drinks packages, Plus and Premier, which are now part of the new All-Inclusive packages introduced in 2023. These packages not only include drinks but also a whole range of additional extras such as Wi-Fi, fitness classes, and more. Find out more about the Princess Cruises All Inclusive packages here.

Both the Plus and Premier drinks packages can be used on Princess Cays private island and at all bars and restaurants onboard the ships.

Remember, the packages must be purchased for every day a passenger is sailing and cannot be shared between guests. Packages must be purchased by the first two adults in the same cabin and can not be shared.

Princess Plus Beverage Package

The Princess Plus Beverage Package costs $64.99 USD ($76.70 per day, including the 18% service charge) for all cruises except Australia. For cruises departing from Australia or New Zealand, the package is AUD $110.00 per day.

The package is included with the Princess Plus All-Inclusive package.

For those who have purchased the Princess Plus package, it includes all cocktails, wine, and beer priced at $15.00 USD/$22.00 AUD and under. However, you are restricted to 15 alcoholic drinks per day, and the day runs from 6 a.m. to 6 a.m.

The package also includes;

  • Unlimited 500ml bottled water

  • Fountain sodas

  • Specialty coffees and teas

  • Smoothies from the Juice Bar

  • Fresh juice

  • Milkshakes

  • Red Bull energy drinks

Note that the Princess Plus Package does not include bottles of wine, one-liter bottles of water, and bottled juices. However, you do get a 25% discount on bottles of wine, canned soda, and bottled juices.

Princess Premier Beverage Package

The Princess Plus Beverage Package is priced at $84.99 USD ($100.30 per day, including the 18% service charge) for all cruises except Australia. For cruises departing from Australia or New Zealand, the package costs AUD $140.00 per day.

The package is included with the Princess Premier All Inclusive package.

The Premier drinks package it includes beer, spirits, wine by the glass, and cocktails up to the value of $20.00 USD/$3,000 AUD and under. As with the Princess Plus Package, you are restricted to 15 alcoholic drinks per day, and the day runs from 6 a.m. to 6 a.m.

The package also includes unlimited 500ml bottled water, fountain sodas, juices at the Juice Bar, specialty coffees and teas, frappes at Coffee & Cones, milkshakes, and Red Bull energy drinks.

If dining at a specialty dining venue, a large (one-liter) bottle of still or sparkling water is covered by the package. Additionally, you get a 25% discount on bottles of wine, one-liter bottles of water, and bottled juices.

Non-Alcoholic Packages

Zero Alcohol Package

Previously called The Premier Coffee & Soda Package, this package costs $29.99 USD per person/per day ($35.39 per day with the 18% service charge). For sailings from Australia, the package costs $45 AUD per day, including the service charge.

The package includes unlimited:

  • Specialty or premium coffees and teas

  • Hot chocolate

  • Fountain sodas

  • Cans of soda

  • Fresh juices and smoothies from the juice bar

  • 0.5 ltr still bottled water (including Evian)

  • 330 ml or 0.500 ml sparkling bottles of water (San Pellegrino)

  • Frappes at Coffee & Cones

  • Mocktails

  • Smoothies

  • Energy Drinks including Cans of Red Bull

  • Milk Shakes

Classic Soda Package

The Classic Soda Package, previously called the Unlimited Soda & More Package, costs $14.99 USD per person/per day ($17.69 USD with the 18% service charge). The package costs AUD $23, including service charge, for cruises departing from Australia or New Zealand.

The package includes unlimited:

  • Fountain soft drinks

  • Mocktails

  • Juices

  • Smoothies.

It does not include canned or bottled drinks, including water, specialty or premium coffees and teas, hot chocolate, and ice-cream-based drinks.

Princess Cruises Drinks Packages FAQs

How old do you have to be to drink on Princess Cruises?

On cruises from North America, the drinking age is 21 and older. On all other sailings, the minimum age is 18 for all alcoholic beverages.

Can I bring my own alcohol on-board a Princess cruise?

Each passenger may bring one bottle of wine or champagne up to 750 ml per sailing. Any additional bottles brought onboard will be subject to a $15 corkage fee.

Any alcohol purchased in-port will be confiscated when re-boarding and returned to you at the end of your cruise. Similarly, alcohol purchased in the onboard shops will be retained and returned to you at the end of your cruise.

Are drinks free on Princess Cruises?

How to get free drinks on Princess Cruises

You will find free Champagne at the Captain’s Welcome, Champagne Waterfall, and the Captain’s Farewell Party. Champagne is also available at the Art Auction, and some shops may run special parties with free drinks. If you are a Captain’s Circle member, you will receive either free champagne or a drinks voucher at the Captain’s Circle Party. Also, look for free drinks package promotions that Princess runs throughout the year.
